Overcomers Outreach is a Christian 12-Step recovery group for individuals and family members discovering freedom from addictions through the power of Jesus Christ. Meetings are open to all, and those attending are encouraged to go to other 12-Step meetings in additional to Overcomers Outreach.
Overcomers Outreach was founded in 1985 as a Christ-centered BRIDGE between traditional 12-Step support groups and those within churches. Those struggling with alcohol and other substances find a fresh look at the “higher power” they have been seeking – in the person of Jesus Christ.
Overcomers Group refers freely to our “higher power” as being Jesus Christ, and we approach Him together in mutual prayer. We seek to be a bridge between traditional 12-Step support groups and churches of all denominations.
The Purpose of Overcomers is Five-Fold
- To provide fellowship in recovery.
- To be and live reconciled to God and His family.
- To gain a better understanding of alcohol and mood altering chemicals and the disease of addiction.
- To be built up and strengthened in our faith in Christ.
- To render dedicated service to those who suffer as we once suffered.
Overcomers meets on our campus every Saturday at 10:30 AM.
